Problem: To create a simple 1lb combat robot to compete with in the Midwest Robot Combat Association
Asterius: famous half-man half-bull who lived in the labyrinth under Knossos in Greek legend.
Asterius is my first attempt at a 1lb combat robot (‘combot’). The idea was conceived in January 2024, heavily influenced by other spinners of similar shape. Version 0 (seen on the right) is the initial crude CAD sketch I devised to help iron out the idea.
